Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Engineer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to work on radar sensing and embedded platform development. You will program C/C++ for MCU/USRP environments and design PCB solutions for RF control systems.

This Research Engineer is responsible for algorithm programming on MCU, or USRP platform, and is required to:
Develop C/C++ codes, and implement radar sensing algorithms in embedded systems
Analyze system requirements and generate modular specifications.
Accountable for designing PCB solutions that support the RF controller system (e.g., Diodes control circuits).
Develop coding cases based on USRP system, TI mmWave radar sensing developing board, etc., through team discussion for the platform development and measurement.
Assist in live demo and experiments.
Work closely with PI, team members and collaborators to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones.
Keep track of technology trends.
Bachelor‘s degree and above in Electronic Engineering or related field from a reputable university.
Diploma with good industry experience may also be considered.
Basic knowledge of radar sensing and positioning is important.
Experience in MCU/MPU/SOC embedded system platform design and programming.
Good understanding and ability in analog and digital circuit design.
Proficient and good skill in PCB artwork such as Altium.
Knowledge of various embedded hardware and application systems.
Experience in generation of design specification documentation, schematic capture, and circuit analysis and simulation.
Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
Fluent verbal and written communications in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Experiences in TI mmWave radar sensing developing board, Analog or PCB design.
