Job summary

NTU's Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) invites a Research Engineer to advance PrimeNet, blending AI with sustainable technology. You will design algorithms and build prototypes.

You will work with cutting-edge NLP and ML methods, publish findings, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI or related field is required.
• Strong experience in NLP, ML and DL applications.
• Proficiency in Python for ML/NLP tasks.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and models.

ANGEL is looking for a motivated Research Engineer to develop PrimeNet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cutting-edge research to develop new algorithms
• Exploring existing literature and staying up to date with advancements in the field
• Designing experiments to test hypotheses and validate models
• Translating research concepts into working prototypes
• Developing software, algorithms, or hardware systems for real-world applications
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable Python code
• Collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights from data.
• Proficiency in Python for implementing NLP and Generative AI algorithms.
• Understanding of NLP concepts, machine learning algorithms, and their applications in text processing and generation.
• Capacity to address research challenges creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting research findings and presenting them to diverse audiences.
