Job summary

InternSG in Singapore is seeking a proactive research assistant to support desk research, literature reviews, data compilation, and the preparation of summaries for multiple projects. You will help develop simple research tools and coordinate fieldwork while maintaining organized records.

You will also assist with engagement planning, liaising with community partners, organizing event materials and logistics, and supporting RED Space operations and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting desk research, literature reviews, and data compilation for ongoing and upcoming research projects.
• Support development of research tools (e.g., surveys, interview guides) and coordinate fieldwork where needed.
• Compile, organise, and maintain research data and documentation for internal reference and reporting.
• Assist in preparing research summaries, reports, and presentation materials.
• Support planning and coordination of engagement activities, dialogues, workshops, and focus group discussions.
• Assist in liaising with community partners, stakeholders, and participants.
• Help prepare event materials, logistics, registration lists, and follow-up documentation.
• Assist in the day-to-day running of RED Space, including booking, programme facilitation, and upkeep of resources.
• Support documentation of activities, including maintaining records, attendance, and resource inventories.
• Ensure smooth coordination and logistics for programmes run at RED Space.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, minute-taking, preparing documents, and filing.
• Support communications tasks (e.g. drafting simple content, assisting with information materials) as required.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties related to RED’s research and engagement initiatives.
