Job summary

Cambridge CARES in Singapore is seeking a research intern to support the development and implementation of study measures, focusing on documentation, protocols, and participant materials.

You will assist with recruitment materials, study resources, data collection, and coordinating activities, while maintaining records and preparing progress summaries. This role offers exposure to health research in collaboration with local academic partners.

Qualifications

• Relevant background in health sciences, environmental science, public health, biomedical sciences, or related fields.
• Interest in clinical and health research involving human participants.
• Good writing, organisation, and documentation skills.
• Interest or experience in developing study protocols and research material.
• Good knowledge of Excel, R, and data-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Able to collaborate effectively with the wider research team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining study protocols, SOPs, study materials, and other research documentation.
• Assist with developing recruitment materials, participant instructions, questionnaires, and other study resources.
• Support planning and coordination of research activities, including participant recruitment, data collection, and field-testing.
• Organise and maintain study records, documentation, and research databases.
• Assist with reviewing de-identified study data and identifying missing or inconsistent information.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and basic summaries of study progress and findings.
• Work closely with the research team to ensure procedures and materials are clear and aligned with the protocol and ethics requirements.
