Job summary

BRONX HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to research and develop innovative composite materials for thermal insulation.

The role includes feasibility studies for new production techniques, prototype development, and support through manufacturing transfer and launch. The candidate will conduct scientific experiments, improve process control, and collaborate across departments to address technical challenges and RFQs with strong analytical and laboratory skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional degree in material science, chemistry, chemical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Thermal Insulation Industry
• Good practical, analytical and laboratory skills
• Hands-on experimentation, iterations and solving technical problems
• Team player, enthusiastic and result driven
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Research and develop products using innovative technologies, including proposals, prototypes, documentation, testing, and feasibility studies for new production techniques
• Design, plan, and execute scientific experiments to drive product development and resolve technical challenges
• Enhance process control systems to improve product quality and operational efficiency
• Collaborate across departments to manage customer feedback, resolve technical issues, and improve client satisfaction
• Support RFQs and contribute technical expertise to commercial discussions

About the role

This role involves research and development of new composite materials and innovative technologies within the thermal insulation industry. You will carry out feasibility studies on the implementation of new production technologies, manage product development and sales engineering programs, and provide professional technical support for product applications and technical troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop products using innovative technologies, including engineering proposals, prototype development, system documentation, testing, and feasibility studies for advanced production techniques.

• Design, plan, and execute scientific experiments to drive product development and resolve technical challenges.

• Enhance process control systems to foster continuous improvement in product quality and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate across departments to manage customer feedback, resolve technical issues, and improve overall client satisfaction.

• Actively support new Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and contribute technical expertise to commercial discussions.

• Support the full product development lifecycle from concept and V&V (verification and validation) through to manufacturing transfer and launch.

• Provide professional application support and resolve complex engineering challenges.

About you
