Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore, through the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, seeks a Research Assistant to support ageing research projects. The role centers on coordinating day-to-day project activities and ensuring robust execution with the PI and team.

The successful candidate will assist with research planning, administrative coordination, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure timely, accurate project delivery and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields.
• Experience coordinating research projects or managing labs is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the research projects, including timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Track project progress and address delays or issues with team members.
• Maintain accurate project, research and laboratory records for reporting and compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations including equipment, materials, samples, procurement and inventory.
• Coordinate meetings with agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Ensure compliance with institutional requirements and safety standards.
