Job summary

NTU Singapore's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant to support a research team studying ageing patterns in Asian populations. The role includes coordinating day-to-day activities, overseeing project planning and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of results.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the research projects, including timelines, milestones, deliverables and supporting documentation
• Track project progress and identify delays or operational issues, following up with relevant team members to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project, research and laboratory records to support grant reporting, audits and compliance requirements
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including management of equipment, research materials, samples, procurement and inventory
• Coordinate meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes, consolidation of project updates and follow up on action items
• Ensure compliance with institutional requirements, research agreement and governance, laboratory safety standards and relevant ethical approvals
