Job summary

NTU Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is seeking a Research Associate to advance carbon-enhanced concrete materials. The role focuses on developing new carbon-containing concretes, testing performance, and evaluating life-cycle aspects.

The appointee will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to validate materials in scalable demonstrations. The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with strong publication records and hands-on materials testing experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in materials science, civil, chemical engineering or related field with relevant research experience.
• Strong journal publication record and IP generation preferred.
• Experience with nano- and microstructural material tailoring, green cement and mechanical/thermal testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop carbon materials enhanced concrete and test properties.
• Conduct cost-benefit and LCA analyses of developed materials.
• Demonstrate materials in suitable large-scale applications.
• Collaborate with PI’s group and other colleagues.
