Job summary

The National Institute of Education (NIE) at NTU in Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant on a 6-month renewable contract with the SoLEC program CHARM study. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining e-learning platforms such as Moodle and WordPress LMS to support adult learning research.

You will configure LMS, integrate tools (xAPI/LRS), manage users, generate analytics, and assist with data extraction and reporting, within a collaborative research team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology or related field.
• Prior experience administering LMS (Moodle, WordPress LMS) including user accounts, roles, permissions, and system configuration.
• Experience integrating LMS with xAPI and LRS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain e-learning platforms (Moodle, WordPress LMS, or similar).
• Take ownership of LMS platform installation, plugin setup, and course structure; maintain ongoing updates.
• Support design and maintenance of online learning environments for the program and assist in data extraction and reporting.
