Job summary

Singapore Management University is seeking a capable Research Assistant to support a LKCSB project. You will design literature reviews, prepare study materials, program surveys in Qualtrics, and manage data collection with participants in Singapore and abroad.

The role involves data cleaning, statistical analyses (descriptive stats, t-tests, regression), and contributing to manuscripts. You will supervise student assistants, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure ethics documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, behavioral science, public health, or related social science with strong academic standing.
• At least six months of hands-on empirical research experience involving primary data collection with human participants.
• A completed empirical research project to discuss in depth.
• Survey and experiment programming in Qualtrics.
• Quantitative analysis using SPSS, STATA, or R; descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, regression, mediation and moderation analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research design and preparation; literature reviews and study material development.
• Program experiments and surveys in Qualtrics; run pretests and power analyses.
• Recruit participants and coordinate fieldwork in Singapore and partner sites.
• Data cleaning, merging, coding, and documenting datasets; maintain project repository.
• Prepare tables, figures, and results summaries; assist manuscript preparation.
• Coordinate and supervise student assistants; track session quality and timesheets.
