Job summary

National University of Singapore's Department of Social Work is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to support a granted research project at Kent Ridge Campus. The role focuses on administrative tasks, data collection, cleaning, and analysis under the PI.

You will work with quantitative datasets, perform SEM analyses using SPSS/AMOS, STATA, R, or Mplus, and manage survey administration with Qualtrics. Prior research exposure and ethics application experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences; psychology preferred.
• Strong quantitative research skills.
• Familiarity with SEM and statistical analysis software.
• Prior research experience and ethics applications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organise, and manage quantitative datasets.
• Conduct data analyses, including SEM, using SPSS/AMOS, STATA, R, or Mplus.
• Use Qualtrics to support survey setup and administration.
• Liaise with an external survey company and monitor data collection progress.
• Coordinate participant payments.
• Conduct literature searches and assist with background materials.
• Draft project documentation, including annual reports and final reports to funder.
• Support research administration, including ethics application tasks.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
