Job summary

SHOPEE SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Research Analyst within the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. You will conduct in-depth research across industries, gather data from multiple sources, and translate findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, maintaining research databases, and presenting concise reports to drive strategic decisions in our ecommerce and digital finance focus areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field; a Master’s degree would be advantageous but is not required

About the Team:

Our focus is on providing insights and analyses to support the leadership team in making sound decisions to develop our businesses – e-commerce and digital finance. As a Research Analyst, your analysis will play a critical role in supporting the team’s mandate.

Job Description:

• Conduct in-depth research across industries and companies, analysing market developments, competitive dynamics, financial performance, and emerging trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field; a Master’s degree would be advantageous but is not required
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in equity research, asset management, strategy consulting research, or in-house corporate development and strategy, preferably in the consumer internet sector
• Excellent research, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly driven and hard-working self-starter, focused on delivering high-quality results with efficiency and speed
