Job summary

SHOPEE SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a hands-on BI and Data Analytics intern in Singapore to support data-driven decision making. You will use SQL to extract data and generate reports for the business.

Collaborate with category, marketing, and BD teams to derive insights, automate reporting, and highlight trends in campaigns. This 3-6 month internship offers exposure to e-commerce analytics and end-to-end data solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing/enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree.
• Structured and analytical thinking.
• Passionate for e-commerce.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Understanding of Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP), Python and SQL.
• High attention to detail.
• Full-time interns strongly preferred (3-6 months).

Responsibilities

• Utilise SQL to efficiently extract correct data for end-users
• Draw up and generate ad hoc reports to support various functions and categories
• Automate reporting code, in a tidy manner
• Highlight trending or best-priced products in campaigns and collections
• Perform competitor analyses to ensure competitive advantage is maintained
• Collaborate with category team to develop insights and derive micro-strategies for key campaigns
• Collaborate with the wider Business Development and Marketing team for other key initiatives
