Job summary

CNE INVESTMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Technical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support electrical design, technical evaluation, grid connection, and delivery of renewable energy and data center power infrastructure projects.

The role collaborates with EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, and equipment suppliers to ensure technical soundness and compliance. The ideal candidate will assist with SLDs, protection, and energy management integration, while performing power system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in renewable energy, power systems or related infrastructure.
Experience with solar PV, BESS, wind, substations, or MV/HV electrical systems.
Knowledge of electrical system design, power system analysis, protection and grid connection requirements.
Familiarity with IEC/IEEE/NFPA standards and ability to review SLDs and drawings.
Proficiency with renewables software (PVSyst, ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSS/E, AutoCAD).
Willingness to travel to project sites and strong communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Support engineering design and technical evaluation for renewable energy and data center power projects.
Assist in grid connection feasibility studies, load flow, short-circuit and protection coordination analyses.
Contribute to project engineering and delivery from feasibility to commissioning.
Coordinate technical interfaces across electrical, civil, mechanical, control, and process disciplines.
Participate in FAT/SAT, inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Review vendor/subcontractor submissions for compliance with standards and project requirements.
