Gramian Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Rust Backend Architect to contribute to an AI training project focused on production-grade Rust development and robust backend architecture. You will solve complex problems involving APIs, persistence, asynchronous processing, concurrency, performance, and reliability while building reproducible environments.

The role requires hands-on Rust mastery, the ability to design and debug scalable systems, and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional or research experience in Rust development.
• Deep understanding of APIs, persistence, asynchronous processing and performance.
• Ability to translate requirements into reproducible tests and implementations.
• Experience with Rust workspaces and backend tooling.

Responsabilités

• Solve and validate Rust backend problems involving APIs, service behavior, data persistence, concurrency, performance and reliability.
• Translate functional requirements and targets into reproducible implementation and testing workflows.
• Design, review and assess backend architectures for scalability and production readiness.
• Prepare Rust crate workspaces, configs, fixtures, and containerized environments.
• Develop and validate test cases for behavior, edge cases and failure scenarios.
• Debug complex backend issues and identify weaknesses in design.
• Evaluate asynchronous and concurrent systems for race conditions and bottlenecks.
• Produce clear technical explanations and artifacts for AI training and evaluation.
• Maintain output quality while meeting weekly project deadlines.
