Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect based remotely in Singapore. You will guide customers on designing scalable systems using MongoDB, working with sales to win deals and ensuring customer success. Strong Mandarin fluency and a background in cloud and distributed architectures are essential.

Roles include architecture design, customer advisory, and collaborations across cross-functional teams to drive pipeline and value articulation in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8 to 11 years in related industry experience, 5-7 years in customer-facing role.
• Minimum 3 years experience with modern scripting languages or popular programming languages.
• Experience implementing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and guide improvements.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for leadership audiences.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team on end-to-end deal cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies and articulate business value.
• Collaborate with sales to drive account success through planning, qualification and pipeline strategy.
• Generate demand in the sales territory through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay current with MongoDB product suite.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
