Job summary

BRAVE Southeast Asia Podcast is seeking a motivated Junior Podcast Video Editor to join our team in a remote, full-time role. You’ll edit audio and video, transcribe episodes, create social media snippets, and publish content to expand our reach under the guidance of a Producer.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of video editing experience, is proficient with Descript and AI editing tools, understands social media scheduling, communicates clearly, and works well in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of video editing experience.
• Proficiency with Descript and other AI editing tools.
• Understanding of social media management and scheduling software.
• Strong reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication and collaboration with team members.
• Attention to detail to ensure consistency and quality.
• Willingness to learn new tools and best practices.
• Passion for creating engaging podcast content.

Responsibilities

• Edit podcast episodes with Descript and/or Premiere/Davinci Resolve to ensure clear, professional audio and smooth transitions.
• Create accurate episode transcriptions and compelling show notes with AI tools.
• Create attention-grabbing video shorts and promotional materials to drive engagement.
• Schedule and distribute episodes across hosting platforms and social media.
• Maintain high standards for audio and video content and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with the host and team to align on themes, structure and promos.
• Track engagement metrics to optimize future content and marketing.
• Document and improve production workflows with SOPs, tools and checklists.
