Mak Wai Keong in Singapore seeks a freelance video editor for an ongoing medical YouTube/podcast channel. The role involves editing long-form doctor-to-doctor conversations and turning them into strong short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok.
You will need to watch the full conversations, pick the best moments based on story, humor, hooks and audience retention, and add clean subtitles with careful cuts.
We are looking for a Singapore-based freelance video editor for an ongoing medical YouTube/podcast channel. The work includes editing long-form doctor-to-doctor conversations and turning them into strong short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok.
This is not just a technical editing role. You need to watch and understand the full conversation, then independently identify the strongest moments based on story, humour, chemistry, hooks, interesting explanations and audience retention. We will not provide timestamps for every clip.
AI tools are welcome to assist your workflow, but they should not replace watching and understanding the footage.
Our editing style is clean and professional: good pacing, accurate subtitles and thoughtful cuts, without excessive effects, stock footage or constant zooms.
A typical project includes 1 long-form podcast/video and around 10-15 short-form clips. We are looking for someone reliable, independent and experienced with podcast, interview or conversational content. The goal is a long-term working relationship with increasing autonomy and recurring work.
