Job summary

Mercor seeks an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Expert for data centers on a contract basis. This remote role demands strong experience delivering data centers through EPC, design-build, or construction-management models and the ability to interpret complex drawings and schedules.

You will review design coordination, procurement data, and constructability issues, producing clear technical findings and validated outputs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering data centers or complex capital projects through EPC, design-build, or construction-management models.
• Experience in EPC, design-build, engineering, or construction-management environments.
• Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, drawings, schedules, submittals, cost/constraint registers and field records.
• Precise, detail-oriented and able to explain technical issues clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Review tasks involving design coordination, procurement, vendor data, drawing packages, EOR revisions, constructability, and more.
• Check scope interfaces, technical requirements, schedule logic, and material constraints.
• Identify ambiguity, conflicting documents, missing constraints, or unrealistic deliverables.
• Improve task prompts, supporting artifacts, acceptance criteria, rubrics, and programmatic checks.
• Produce clear technical findings and validate corrected tasks end to end.
