Siemens AG in Singapore invites an Industrial AI & Software Engineering Intern to explore how industrial systems, data and software come together in Industry 4.0 environments. This hands-on role offers exposure to backend development, data engineering, applied AI, and industrial connectivity concepts using realistic datasets.

You will build backend services, data pipelines and explore AI techniques with supervision from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, CS, data science, software engineering, AI or related field.
• Interest in backend and data technologies and AI applications.
• Willingness to learn across software development, data, AI and connectivity in Industry 4.0 environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop backend solutions and REST APIs using Python/Node.js to process industrial data.
• Build and optimize industrial data pipelines with sensor and time-series data.
• Apply data science and AI techniques to real-world datasets and patterns.
• Assist in model selection, training, and evaluation with exposure to deployment.
• Explore data flows between equipment, edge systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Document designs, experiments and results clearly for reuse and learning.
