Job summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer – Infrastructure Automation to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure through automation. You will work with cloud architects, DevOps, developers, and security teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP.

The role emphasizes IaC, automated deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, with a focus on security, cost efficiency, and reliability in a modern cloud environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Cloud certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across environments.
Manage cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking, databases, IAM, load balancers).
Support architecture decisions for availability, scalability, security, performance, and cost.
