Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure professional to design, implement, and support scalable platforms across development, staging, and production environments.

The role focuses on managing Microsoft Azure and hybrid clouds, IaC automation with Terraform/Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, and ensuring security, backup, and disaster recovery while coordinating with stakeholders and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Hands‑on experience managing Microsoft Azure and/or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, virtualisation, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, security best practices, disaster recovery, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to IM8 or other regulated/government environments is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable cloud and infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage and optimise Azure and hybrid cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and platform services.
• Provide cloud operations support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation to ensure platform reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Perform system patching, security hardening, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
• Support cloud modernisation and containerisation initiatives using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, application teams, and vendors to deliver infrastructure enhancements and operational improvements.
