Altinity, Inc. is hiring a ClickHouse Solutions Engineer to guide customers worldwide in building real-time data solutions. You will work on designing schemas, planning clusters from single nodes to multi-hundred node deployments including Altinity.Cloud, and engaging with the open-source community.

The role emphasizes production-grade delivery, containerized environments, and strong English communication. A university IT/math degree or equivalent experience is required, with remote-friendly

Qualifications

• Experience with ClickHouse is a MUST.
• Expert SQL knowledge for one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Strong Linux shell and bash scripting skills.
• Experience with running production-grade systems.
• Technical English writing and speaking skills.
• Knowledge of distributed systems concepts and big data stacks.
• Programming knowledge in Python, C++, Java or Go.

Responsibilities

• Handle support calls from customers using ClickHouse and diagnose connection issues.
• Design production-grade systems based on ClickHouse, including schemas and cluster planning.
• Work with the community via GitHub, Stack Overflow, Telegram.
