Job summary

Binance Acceler ator Program - AI System Performance Engineer (APAC Remote) is seeking motivated interns to join our engineering team and work on high-performance, low-latency systems. You will collaborate on performance-critical infrastructure, including messaging, concurrency, networking, memory optimization, and latency-sensitive components.

This internship emphasizes fundamentals and rapid learning; prior low-latency or trading experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Master's/PhD in CS, CE or related technical field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, OS, networking, memory management and concurrency.
• Proficiency in C++, Rust, or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-throughput, low-latency systems, including messaging, concurrency pipelines, and networking.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, OS, networking, and concurrency.
• Optimize memory allocation, data structures, serialization, and multithreaded processing for efficiency.
• Explore lock-free architectures, CPU affinity and memory management techniques.
• Build benchmarking and profiling tools to measure throughput and latency.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate complex performance issues and deliver improvements.
