Job summary

Polygala is building the cloud for AI agents, focusing on millisecond provisioning, autonomous scaling, and programmatic surfaces for agents. You will work on sandboxed execution and broader infrastructure, tackling isolation, resource control, persistence, and multi-agent execution.

The role emphasizes backend systems, low-level tradeoffs, and security, with expectations to contribute to BoxLite and grow its ecosystem through tools, docs, and examples.

Qualifications

• Strong background in computer science or engineering.
• Production-quality code in Rust/Go/Python/C++ and backend systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve sandboxed execution for AI agents focusing on reliability, performance, and security.
• Contribute to runtime internals and infrastructure layers supporting agent workloads across containers and virtualization concepts.
• Shape developer interactions with the stack via CLI tooling, SDKs, APIs and documentation.
• Contribute to BoxLite open-source project and foster developer ecosystem.
