Job summary

UWCSEA Dover seeks Relief Teachers for Middle & High School to cover for colleagues on medical or other leave. Applicants with expertise in Mathematics, Science or Design Technology are welcome. You must hold an internationally recognised qualification and reside in Singapore, and be available as needed.

Responsibilities include teaching when required, providing feedback on student progress, and potentially supervising student activities. Commitment to DEIJ is valued.

Qualifications

• A good degree and a recognised teaching qualification are essential (as part of the candidate's professional training).
• Experience teaching in a school context is essential.
• Experience in an international school context is advantageous.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and justice, and the ability to adapt pedagogy to meet diverse learners' needs, is essential.
• Flexibility, positivity and the ability to build rapport with students are important.

• Teach classes as required for middle and high school cover.

UWCSEA Dover is looking for Relief Teachers for Middle School and High School to provide cover for colleagues who are absent on medical or other leave. We welcome applications from teachers with expertise in one or more of the following subjects: Mathematics, Science or Design Technology.

Please note that to apply for this role, you must have an internationally recognised qualification and reside in Singapore. You must also be available whenever needed.

Main Responsibilities

• To teach classes as required with some planning if it is an advanced cover.
• To provide feedback on student progress if appropriate.
• There may be opportunities to take on supervisory duties (students’ activities).
