Job summary

Brighton College (Singapore) is seeking an experienced Relief Teacher to join our team. The role involves standing in for specific subjects, marking promptly, and supporting pupils across a range of year groups within an independent school setting.

You will work under school policies, collaborate with senior staff, and help maintain a stimulating classroom environment while upholding safeguarding and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold Teaching Certification recognised in international contexts (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or i-PGCE).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cover/relief teaching in an independent school environment for children aged 18 months to 12 years.

Responsibilities

• Stand in for teaching specific subjects as per school policies and schemes of work.
• Mark work promptly with feedback in line with policy.
• Assist with lunchtime supervision and behavior management.
• Collaborate with Deputy Head Academic/Pastoral and staff on student concerns.
• Ensure monitoring, assessment, and reporting align with school policies.
• Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment.
