Job summary

Playfacto School in Singapore is looking for Freelance Relief Teachers to join our flexible, part-time relief team across our centres islandwide, supporting after-school care programmes.

Responsibilities include ensuring student safety, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and assisting with homework and basic academic support. You will also help the Centre Head with daily routines and ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Comfort and confidence in engaging with primary school-aged children.
• A nurturing, dependable, and responsible personality.
• Familiarity with local curriculum to assist students effectively.

Our relief team plays an important role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students when regular staff are unavailable. Assignments are offered based on your availability - simply accept those that suit your schedule.

Job Responsibilities (Relief Teachers)

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care
• Uphold a positive and respectful classroom environment
• Escort students safely from nearby schools to the centre
• Guide and support students in completing their daily homework
• Provide basic academic assistance and encourage independent learning
• Support the Centre Head in daily routines and any ad-hoc duties

Important things to note:

• Dress code: Smart casual (no shorts); visible tattoos must be covered
• All relief staff are expected to maintain professionalism and uphold the values of the centre at all times

Job Requirements (Relief Teachers):
