Standard Chartered is seeking a Relationship Manager for International Clients in Singapore. The role focuses on maximizing new business and deepening relationships within Priority/HHN client segments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultative financial analysis and profiling sessions with clients.
  • Provide market updates and trend analyses on local and international financial products.
  • Collaborate with PB/branch managers to plan monthly sales targets and onboarding of new clients.
  • Participate in marketing activities for client acquisition.
  • Source and call on individual prospects.
  • Deliver quality after-sales service and manage client retention.
  • Organise and conduct group presentations and referrals from other SCB units.
  • Adhere to money laundering prevention procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to

  • Maximize new business/acquisition/referral opportunities and deepening existing customer relationships to the specified service standards for the Priority Clients segment
Implementation and oversight of the below individual responsibilities:
  • To conduct a professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling session with customers to meet their financial needs/objectives.
  • To foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis on local and international financial products.
  • In consultation with the PB team manager/ branch manager/ PTL, draw up monthly plans for achieving/exceeding sales targets to meet new business and customer acquisition goals
  • To participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition.
  • To source and call on individual prospects
  • To provide quality, efficient after-sales services
  • To manage anti-attrition and retention of clients
  • To organise and conduct sales presentations to groups, clubs, associations, companies and other organisations.
  • To solicit referrals from other parts of SCB eg. RMs from C&I, staff, etc.
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
  • To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 4+ years experienced Relationship Manager within banking, focused on acquiring and managing Priority / HNW individual clients.
  • They have strong technical knowledge of consumer banking and wealth products (Treasury, Equities, Funds, Insurance, etc.) and can deliver professional, consultative financial analysis to meet client needs.
  • The candidate combines a strong sales and acquisition mindset with disciplined portfolio management, anti attrition and retention.
  • They consistently demonstrate high ethical standards and full adherence to regulatory and conduct requirements.
