Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an experienced professional to join its Global Financial Institutions team in Singapore. You will manage a portfolio of NBFI clients and strengthen OCBC's position as a leading partner in Asia.

The role involves driving new relationships, coordinating with product partners, and originating transactions while leveraging the bank’s platform across TB, Loans, and Capital Markets. A strong track record in FI products and APAC coverage is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in covering banks across the APAC region and equipped with good writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong Product knowledge of transaction banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and Capital Markets would be an advantage.
  • Mastery of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneDrive) required.

Responsibilities

  • Be the global relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, comprising mainly from the Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) Segment.
  • Strengthen the bank’s market position as one of the key "go-to" partner banks in Asia.
  • Drive new relationship initiatives, including developing new partnerships, and originating new transactions.
  • Leverage on the bank’s platform, leading cross‑functional teams to drive deal execution.
  • Joint customer visits/ calls conducted with product partners or senior managers in understanding client’s business and obtaining new business.
  • Promote financial institutions products across Transaction Banking Services, Loans & Trade Finance Solutions, Debt Capital Markets & Global Markets will be beneficial.
  • Monitor developments in market conditions, regulatory changes, country risk and table relevant updates.

What you do

The candidate will be part of a Global FI team covering and establishing new banking partnerships within the Financial Institutions segment. Reporting to the Team Head, you will:

Who you are

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Experience in covering banks across the APAC region and equipped with good writing and presentation skills. Strong Product knowledge of transaction banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and Capital Markets would be an advantage. Mastery of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneDrive) required. Good team player who is driven, pro‑active with a positive attitude and comfortable with a dynamic, fast‑changing environment. Recommended minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience.
