Job summary

HOWDEN SPECIALTY ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking an (Re)Insurance Operations Assistant to support the Head of Operations APAC. The role interfaces with Broker Support, Claims, Technical Processing, IBA and Security Counter Party to resolve issues and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities include file reviews, client communications, project monitoring, and contributing to process improvements. The candidate should be numerate, detail-oriented and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year experience in (Re)Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, numerate and eager to learn.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to communicate with internal and external parties.

• Perform random file review on full and accurate completion of all soft copy files and system entries.
• Interact directly with Clients & (Re)Insurers as required.
• Monitor progress of ongoing projects and ensure timelines are met.
• Assist in implementing enhanced Process and Procedure.
• Run relevant Management reports to support the business.

Job Field : (Re)Insurance Operations Assistant

The successful applicant will report to the Head of Operations APAC with the responsibilities to:

• Provide day to day support to the Head of Operations
• Act as primary interface with Broker Support, Claims, Technical Processing, IBA team and Security Counter Party ensuring effective resolution of any issues.
• Perform random file review on full and accurate completion of all soft copy files and completion of all system entries and records
• Interact directly with Clients &(Re)Insurers as required
• Monitor progress of ongoing projects and ensure they meet required timelines
• Assist in the implementation of enhanced Process and Procedure.
• Run relevant Management reports to support the business.

The job will require the individual to possess :

• Minimum one year experience in (Re)Insurance industry
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, numerate and eager to learn
• Strong Interpersonal abilities to communicate with internal and external parties
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
