Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Regulatory Operations professional to join our Singapore team. You will develop expertise in derivatives regulatory reporting and coordinate with stakeholders, technology and other regions to implement new rules and oversee ongoing reporting obligations.

Required are 8+ years in financial regulatory reporting, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into clear documentation and actionable controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of work experience in the financial industry and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with derivative products and regulations like HKMA, JFSA, ASIC and MAS.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop expert knowledge pertaining to derivatives regulatory requirements, processes and systems for regulatory reports.
• Oversee the implementation of new rules or changes within existing obligations.
• Provide oversight of impact assessments for new markets, products, and regulations.
• Investigate and remediate issues and develop control improvements.
• Improve current processes and automate manual tasks.
• Contribute to strategic technology initiatives and change management.
• Produce project documentation including requirements, flow diagrams and data analysis.
• Coordinate testing with Operations and Technology and work with Legal and Compliance.
• Act as a risk manager for regulatory reporting obligations and drive issue resolution.
• Be flexible to support other activities within the group as needed.
