Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a Manager/Deputy/Assistant Manager to lead regulatory policy for active mobility. You will conceptualise strategies, review policies, and craft enforcement frameworks under the Active Mobility Act.

You will coordinate with government agencies, retailers, and community groups to balance safety and accessibility while promoting gracious behaviour on public paths. The role requires strong analytical and written communication skills, adaptability, and experience in

Qualifications

• Knowledge in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in regulation and policy work.
• Highly adaptable, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Good analytical, written and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, develop and review regulatory strategies and policies for active mobility devices under the Active Mobility Act.
• Establish rules and code of conduct that promote safety and gracious behaviour amongst users.
• Review existing active mobility policies, develop policy solutions to emerging challenges, and craft enforcement frameworks.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, implementable policies balancing safety with accessibility.
• Coordinate closely with government agencies, retailers, community organisations and path users.
