Job summary

Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions Singapore’s built environment, regulating building safety and driving sector transformation toward a safe, sustainable and people-friendly future. We seek resourceful, energetic individuals to help shape a future-ready Built Environment Sector.

You will play a major role in administering building regulations, developing strategies, and supporting IT-driven processes across agencies to foster a pro-business environment.

Qualifications

A degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in consultancy and design.
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a team and possess eagerness to learn.
Candidates who possess professional certification, or strong technical/BIM knowledge will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Reviewing/developing strategies and policies in relation to the Building Control Regulations (Temporary Buildings/ Advertising Licensing).
Enhancing processes and managing operations under the BC Regulations; including IT system development and liaising with related agencies.
Approving submissions on building plans including designs related to safety, environmental sustainability and barrier-free accessibility.
