Job summary

LMA Recruitment, on behalf of a leading financial institution in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Assurance / Compliance Testing professional for a 12-month contract. The role is hands-on and focuses on assessing how regulatory requirements and internal controls are applied across the business.

You will develop testing programmes, assess control effectiveness, report findings to senior stakeholders, and collaborate with Compliance, Risk and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, testing or internal audit.
• Strong understanding of Singapore banking regulations and controls.
• Ability to identify gaps and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out compliance assurance and control testing reviews across regulatory and financial crime-related activities.
• Assess whether processes and controls are operating effectively against Singapore regulations and internal requirements.
• Plan review programmes with testing approaches, sampling methodologies and assessment criteria.
• Analyse review results to identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with business, Compliance and Risk stakeholders on corrective actions and follow-up.
• Monitor outstanding issues and remediation plans to ensure timely completion.
• Produce reports highlighting findings, trends, risks and actions for senior stakeholders.
• Prepare management information and dashboards for governance forums.
