EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified WSHO for a well established construction company in Singapore. You will implement and enforce workplace safety regulations, coach staff on safety practices, and oversee HSE management systems across projects.

You will run site safety audits, liaise with authorities, investigate incidents, and prepare safety and environmental reports. Diploma or degree in Workplace Safety and Health with 3-5 years’ construction experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in construction industry.

Responsabilités

• Carry out the duties of a WSHO as outlined in legislation and regulations.
• Ensure all statutory acts, regulations, company safety rules, and codes of practice are implemented and complied with by all staff.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the workforce on workplace safety practices.
• Implement and oversee the project-specific HSE management system and programs in alignment with corporate procedures.
• Support company and project initiatives to achieve HSE-related awards and certifications.
• Perform site safety audits, inspections, & compliance checks.
• Identify and address gaps in WSH/Environmental systems, procedures, and performance, recommending improvements.
• Develop and implement the Safety Program.
• Review and evaluate WSH Management System (WSHMS) and Environmental reports.
• Conduct safety meetings, briefings, and training for stakeholders.
• Liaise closely with project team to maintain a high level of safety, health and environmental standard.
• Liaise with authorities on occupational safety, health, and environmental matters.
• Advise Project Director/Manager on WSH issues and improvements.
• Maintain accurate site environmental, health, and safety records and reports while ensuring timely submission.
• Review internal and external risk assessments and risk management processes.
• Investigate workplace incidents, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and following up on implementation.
• Ensure all Permit-to-Work (PTW) supporting documents are valid and in place.
• Prepare and submit the Site Environmental Control Program before work commences.
• Organize and coordinate tabletop exercises, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan drills, and ensure the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
• Prepare and present detailed data analytics reports on WSH performance, conditions, and practices.
• Perform any other ad hoc HSE-related duties as assigned by management.
