Job summary

Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Singapore-based, seeks an accomplished Value & Access leader to shape sustainable patient access across APMA markets.

The Region V&A Therapeutic Area Head will translate international strategies into locally relevant access plans and partner with Medical, Commercial, Corporate/Public Affairs, Finance, Regulatory, and other functions to enable timely, value-based access.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, business administration, or related field.
• MBA is an advantage.
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical industry with leadership in market access, pricing, reimbursement or health policy.
• Proven success in developing and executing access strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience engaging payers, HTA bodies, health authorities and external stakeholders.
• Experience across multiple markets or regions; international V&A experience preferred.
• Ability to translate complex access challenges into clear strategies and measurable improvements.
• Commercial or profit-and-loss experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute regional V&A strategies across the region.
• Lead launch readiness and ensure high-quality V&A deliverables.
• Use dashboards and insights to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Influence pricing assumptions, profitability, and cross-country pricing.
• Shape external environment with Public Affairs to address market access barriers.
• Develop tools, training, frameworks, and communities of practice in V&A.
• Lead cross-country collaboration and foster an inclusive high-performing culture.
