Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Strategy & Operations Lead to drive operational excellence across the South East Asia & ANZ region, reporting to the VP for South East Asia & ANZ. You will translate global strategy into regional execution, establish KPIs, and build scalable operating systems for consistent growth.

Partner with global leadership to help markets adapt, lead a high-performing regional operations team, and ensure the regional system runs smoothly with accountability and rigor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regional or international operations in a fast-scaling, complex business environment.
• Strong strategic and operational judgment, translating goals into execution plans.
• Experience operating across multiple markets, functions, and business lines in SEA & ANZ.

Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing the South East Asia & ANZ operating strategy in alignment with APAC & global objectives.
• Driving execution across key markets, ensuring consistency while adapting to local needs and dynamics.
• Partnering with global leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources for in-region execution.
• Establishing KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operating cadences to track performance.
• Building and optimizing scalable processes across consumer, product, partnerships, and other key functions.
• Identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting market entry strategies and operational readiness for SEA & ANZ.
• Enabling strategic partnerships through robust operational frameworks.
