Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an accomplished procurement leader to oversee plant-level procurement execution, ensuring uninterrupted material supply and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

The role collaborates with Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement to align purchasing with production schedules and customer commitments, while monitoring supplier performance and mitigating risks to maintain continuity and stability across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing complex procurement execution, supply continuity, supplier performance, and exception management challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement execution at the plant level to ensure uninterrupted material supply and support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Manage complex supply challenges, including material shortages, supplier constraints, inventory risks, and production disruptions through effective escalation and problem-solving.
• Partner closely with Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules and customer commitments.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify emerging supply risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity and operational stability.
• Promote standard purchasing practices, governance frameworks, and escalation processes while ensuring compliance with enterprise procurement policies.
• Analyse procurement KPIs, identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, inventory health, fulfilment accuracy, and drive process optimisation through automation and digital initiatives.
• Act as the key procurement advisor to site stakeholders, providing guidance on purchasing processes, risk management, and operational best practices to enhance overall supply chain performance.
