Job summary

Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania is seeking an experienced supply chain planning professional to support regional SCM activities across SEA and Oceania in alignment with HQ guidelines. You will coordinate demand and supply planning with subsidiaries and consolidate planning data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in SCM, demand planning, supply planning, logistics or operations planning.
• Experience in multinational or regional environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and prepare reports.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP or ERP systems is preferred.
• Good communication and stakeholder management across regional teams.
• Well-organised and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support regional SCM planning across SEA & Oceania in line with HQ guidelines.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly demand and supply planning with subsidiaries and consolidate planning data.
• Monitor SCM KPIs, identify issues, and elevate findings to management.
• Assist demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and forecasting with reports and data analysis.
• Review forecast submissions and validate planning assumptions, inventory levels and risks.
• Prepare SCM reports, dashboards and business insights for management.
• Coordinate regional SCM meetings and track actions with subsidiaries and cross-functional teams.
• Support new product launches, transitions, promotions and EOL inventory management.
• Assist in inventory optimization: safety stock, slow-moving stock, SKU rationalisation.
• Support process improvement projects to standardise, automate and improve efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc SCM analysis and related planning tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support regional Supply Chain Management (SCM) planning activities across SEA & Oceania subsidiaries in alignment with HQ guidelines.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly demand & supply planning processes with subsidiaries and consolidate planning data.
• Monitor SCM performance indicators, identify operational issues, and elevate key findings to management.
• Support demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and sales forecasting activities by preparing reports and performing data analysis.
• Review forecast submissions from subsidiaries and assist in validating planning assumptions, inventory levels and supply risks.
• Prepare regular SCM reports, dashboards and business insights for management.
• Coordinate regional SCM meetings and follow up on action items with subsidiaries and cross-functional teams.
• Support new product launches, product transitions, promotional planning and End-of-Life (EOL) inventory management.
• Assist in inventory optimisation initiatives, including safety stock monitoring, slow-moving inventory analysis and SKU rationalisation activities.
• Support SCM process improvement projects by identifying opportunities for standardisation, automation and operational efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc SCM analysis and other planning-related assignments as required.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Operations Planning, or related functions.
• Experience in multinational companies or regional business environments is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, forecasting and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data and prepare meaningful reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across regional and cross-functional teams.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous process improvement.
