Job summary

Talent Trader Group in Singapore seeks an experienced Physical Security Engineer to lead technical site assessments, audits and APAC risk reviews. You will design, implement and support CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems across multi-site environments, ensuring robust security postures.

Travel across Singapore and APAC is required to support deployments, commissioning and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Security Technology, IT or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in physical security technology or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments, security audits and risk assessments across Singapore and APAC.
• Evaluate effectiveness of physical security systems and protective measures.
• Provide technical support for CCTV, access control and intrusion detection.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of security systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on technical implementations.

Job description

• Conduct technical site assessments, security audits and risk assessments across Singapore and APAC.
• Assess the effectiveness of physical security systems, infrastructure and protective measures.
• Provide technical support across CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and related security systems.
• Oversee system installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Support the design, implementation and lifecycle management of physical security solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on communication and security-related technology systems.
• Evaluate physical protection measures and recommend appropriate security improvements.
• Review technical designs, specifications, drawings and system documentation.
• Identify technical vulnerabilities and recommend practical risk mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with contractors, system integrators and service providers on technical implementation and maintenance.
• Prepare technical reports, assessment findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Analyse relevant security intelligence, local risks and regional trends to support risk assessments.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to maintain consistent security standards and practices.
• Support security technology projects and site deployments across the APAC region.
• Travel internationally as required for site assessments, projects and technical support.
• Ad hoc duties or projects whenever required.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Security Technology, IT or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in physical security technology, electronic security systems or security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Proven experience in system installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with security communications or radio systems will be an advantage.
• Exposure to physical security infrastructure, protective barriers or other security hardening measures is preferred.
• Experience working with security system integrators, contractors and technical vendors.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-site projects is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Singapore and APAC as required.
