About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager / experienced Project Engineer to manage technical projects from planning and site implementation through testing, commissioning and handover.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage assigned technical projects from planning, site implementation and installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, work programmes, resources and overall project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, vendors and other relevant parties throughout project execution.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams on project requirements, technical matters and site activities.
- Review project specifications, technical drawings, layouts and related documentation to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
- Coordinate site installation works and resolve technical, operational or site-related issues that may affect project progress.
- Monitor project deliverables, quality requirements and work progress, and take appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct project meetings, site coordination meetings and progress reviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, system acceptance and project handover activities.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, schedules and other required project records.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant project engineering / project management experience.
- Candidates with experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager who are ready to step up are encouraged to apply.
- Good experience in project coordination, site implementation and stakeholder management.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and project documentation.
- Strong planning, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple project activities and stakeholders.
- Experience in Security Systems, ELV, Electrical / Electronic Systems, System Integration, Technical Equipment or Infrastructure Projects will be an added advantage.
