Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering leader to define and drive regional quality strategies across Asia, aligning with global objectives to achieve high reliability and zero-defect performance.

You will lead a regional QMS, manage CAPA closures, collaborate with customers on escalations, and build a high-performing quality team while leveraging Lean and Six Sigma to continuously improve process capability and quality.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 10 years in Quality Engineering.
• Regional exposure across Asia.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute regional quality strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Lead and enhance the QMS across Asia manufacturing sites.
• Oversee QA processes including qualification, changes, tracking, and CAPA closure.
• Interface for customers, manage escalations and drive robust resolutions.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma and data-driven improvements to reduce defects.
• Develop and lead a high-performing regional quality team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute regional quality strategies aligned with global objectives to achieve high reliability and zero-defect performance.
• Lead and continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) across Asia manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance and audit readines
• Oversee quality assurance processes including qualification, change management, performance tracking, and effective CAPA closure.
• Act as the key interface for customers, managing escalations and driving robust resolution of quality and reliability issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, leveraging data to enhance process capability and reduce defects.
• Strengthen process control and operational excellence to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Build and lead a high-performing regional quality team, focusing on talent development, engagement, and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering
• Regional Exposure
• Semiconductor Manufacturing experience will be a plus
