Job summary

ACExcellent Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a high-impact Quality Engineering Director to shape quality excellence across Asia in the semiconductor supplier ecosystem. You will lead regional strategies, drive customer-focused quality programs, and escalate and close out critical issues using proven methodologies.

The role requires 10–15 years in quality with 10+ years in senior leadership, semiconductor experience, and strong capability across front-end and back-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or materials science; master’s preferred.
• 10-15 years in quality with 10+ years in senior leadership.
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
• Front-end/back-end process experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple Asia locations and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and drive regional quality strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Serve as quality liaison for Asia customers; manage escalations and corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessment via statistical methods to accelerate containment and action.
• Set ownership across sites, ensuring disciplined execution against KPIs.
• Lead QA processes for regional plants including CAPA closure and audits.
• Improve quality systems and reporting; standardize best practices.
• Develop CQE/QE leaders and succession plans.
