Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll across multiple countries from our Kallang location. You will drive payroll transformation, digitalization, and process excellence while partnering with regional stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant payroll services.

The role requires 8+ years of payroll experience, multi-country exposure, and strong analytical and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of payroll experience.
• Experience in payroll operations in multiple countries.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and controls.
• Effective analytical, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to solve problems and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in payroll transformation or automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll operations for a cluster of countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a trusted payroll advisor and primary contact for HR, Finance, vendors, and external agencies.
• Govern payroll controls, audits, reconciliations, and risk management activities to maintain a strong control environment.
• Lead payroll transformation initiatives, process optimization, automation, and digitalization to improve efficiency and experience.
• Collaborate on payroll system implementations, integrations, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Drive change management, training, and adoption to support payroll transformation.
• Develop and maintain payroll policies, SOPs, checklists, and knowledge repositories.
• Identify opportunities to standardize processes and reduce operational risks.
• Support regional and global payroll projects, changes, acquisitions, and new country deployments.
• Provide SME guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive process excellence.
• Coach team members and foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
