Job summary

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional affiliates, draft and negotiate contracts, assess risks, support disputes, and help standardise policies and templates through

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent law degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in corporate legal work, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
• Strong knowledge of construction law and contracts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to regional affiliates in line with business needs and objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Identify and assess legal and contractual risks in projects and transactions, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support contract negotiations and business transactions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on legal and compliance matters.
• Monitor ongoing legal risks and issues, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support dispute management and legal proceedings where required.
• Assist in developing and improving contract management and risk control processes.
• Participate in regional legal initiatives, including training, policy updates, and template standardisation.
• Liaise with external counsel and cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

• Familiarity with Southeast Asia markets will be advantageous
