Advantest (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. serves as the regional legal counsel for ASP and its subsidiaries in Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The role provides strategic legal guidance on regulatory and commercial matters for a large multinational technology group in the Asia Pacific region.

It requires advising senior leaders, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, and delivering governance training across the region, in coordination with Global Legal teams.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore, UK, Malaysia or other common law jurisdiction.
• 10–15 years post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house roles.
• Demonstrated experience across ASEAN jurisdictions.
• Ability to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements with commercially practical solutions.

Aufgaben

• Advise senior leaders on compliance, business development, commercial, employment, IT, AI, IP, and data privacy matters across the ASP region.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and supplier agreements including technology, software, licensing, cloud services, AI, and data processing arrangements.
• Develop and deliver legal, compliance, data privacy and AI governance training to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Global Legal teams to support regional initiatives and manage legal risks.
