Job summary

JAC RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Regional Legal Manager to support business operations across the ASEAN region.

You will provide legal advisory on a wide range of matters and work closely with internal stakeholders and regional affiliates, supporting day-to-day legal matters and strategic initiatives. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, identify risks, and assist in dispute management while aligning with corporate objectives across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate legal experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
• Strong knowledge of construction law and contracts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asia markets advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to regional affiliates in line with business needs and objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.

• Support contract negotiations and business transactions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on legal and compliance matters.
• Monitor ongoing legal risks and issues, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support dispute management and legal proceedings where required.
• Assist in developing and improving contract management and risk control processes.
• Participate in regional legal initiatives (e.g. training, policy updates, template standardization).
• Liaise with external counsel and cross-functional teams as needed.
