Job summary

The role involves drafting, reviewing agreements, risk assessment, negotiations, and cross-department collaboration to ensure compliant and efficient operations in the region. Requires a law degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Law.
• 3–5 years of experience in international corporate legal affairs, preferably in construction.
• Good understanding of construction law and contracts.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and information security literacy.
• High attention to detail with strong initiative.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asia jurisdictions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for regional affiliates in ASEAN, advising on and managing legal matters and construction contracts.
• Draft and/or review contracts, legal documents and correspondences.
• Identify and analyse potential legal and contractual risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Assist in negotiation of contracts and transactions where necessary.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and communicate legal advice.
• Monitor legal issues and provide timely updates; support disputes and related proceedings.
• Contribute to internal contract review and risk management processes.
• Assist planning and execution of legal projects and training for affiliates.
