Job summary

Canon Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an accomplished Regional IT Strategy and Department Leader to steer the IT function across strategy, governance, and operations in the Asia-Pacific region. You will set priorities, manage budgets, and report to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with headquarters and business objectives.

You will lead cybersecurity governance, IT risk, infrastructure, applications, and data initiatives, including ERP platforms and AI-powered digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of progressive IT experience across infrastructure, security, applications, operations, and digital transformation.
• Minimum 15 years leading corporate or regional IT functions with budget and governance accountability.
• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles as IT department head or regional IT leader.
• Strategic ability to align IT with business priorities and group direction.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and security operations.
• Strong understanding of networks, cloud, data centers, and IT service management.
• Experience with enterprise applications/ERP, data analytics, and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT as a regional department head, setting strategy, governance, and operating standards.
• Align IT plans and investments with business objectives and HQ direction.
• Oversee IT budget, vendor governance, risk, and executive reporting.
• Drive cybersecurity governance, policies, and security awareness.
• Manage IT infrastructure, operations, cloud platforms, data centers, and workplace tech.
• Provide leadership for enterprise applications, data warehouse modernization, and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with HQ, business leaders, and local IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.
